Jenny Wagner is a Houston-based painter working in watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Her work draws from landscapes, objects, and interiors that feel most like home - Western terrain, quiet rooms, and the small details that carry a sense of place and memory.
A lifelong student of the craft, Jenny studies at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, where she has pursued coursework across drawing, painting, photography, design, and metalworking. The Glassell community is central to her practice - a place where curiosity is the constant and the work keeps evolving.
Her studio practice is woven into her everyday life, often creating alongside her children. That sense of play and presence shows up in the work - particularly in the Bandana Series, where hand-stretched bandana canvas becomes the ground for paintings that are rooted in Texas tradition but never take themselves too seriously.
Jenny opened Jenny Wagner Studio in late 2025 and have been actively exhibiting and selling work since. She shows regionally and sells original and fine art prints through her studio website.
