This original acrylic painting is part of an ongoing studio practice that draws from classical composition while remaining distinctly contemporary. The composition is inspired by a Dutch Golden Age still life, reinterpreted through my own visual language as part of my artistic study and practice.

The work reflects an appreciation for simplicity - everyday objects elevated through attention and restraint. Texture and tonal shifts bring dimension without excess. 

Layered florals, fruit, insects, and architectural details create a dense surface that rewards close viewing, with new details emerging gradually across the canvas.
